Sand patterns on Seilebost Beach, Isle of Harris, Scotland converted to B&W. I liked the abstract patterns and decided to make it a bit more abstract by converting to B&W in Silver Efex Pro2. Taken on a Transient Light Workshop. Thanks for having a look and for any comments and critiques. BTW - Protoplasm was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the patterns here.

Canon 5DM2
Canon 34-70mm at 70mm

I really love this one, Eva. B&W works well here and you did a good job with the conversion. Great textures and shapes and forms. Great abstract image. :toast:

You have some really neat patterns here and I love the absract quality! I might try to push the tonal contrast up a bit to accentuate those patterns - maybe sacrifice some realism for the sake of the art? This is really nice - I just want to keep staring at it.

I'd like to see the brights pop a bit more to bring out the contrast...but this is very cool!

Fantastic pattern, Eva. Your use of b/w works very effectively in really emphasizing the numerous circular elements of this abstract. Love it.

Neat. Nice abstract. I have no sense of scale for this, but could maybe see going a bit tighter to focus more on the shapes.

I really like all the shapes in this Eva, I find it quite hypnotic. I agree with Rick though about pumping up the contrast a little.

This is a nice change from the ice images that have been posted. The ice returned to southern NH.
