Tree swallow

Decided to give you all a break from the owls for a bit. I was exploring my snail kite lake the other day and came across a bunch of tree swallows resting amoung the reeds. I like The DOF on this shot and the BG reed patterns. Soft light worked well too IMO.

Please view the larger version for max. details. Thanks.

A killer shot- Gorgeous quality of light and excellent detail on the bird- With that beautiful background, I agree with your choice to leave a good amount of room around the subject- My congrats, Fabio

Congrats on a gorgeous image ... great detail/DOF on the bird and killer BG!
:toast:

Would like to see the bird a bit less centered horizontally if possible.

A very pleasing image. I love the soft colors and the way the reeds have been rendered by the DOF to show what they are without distrcting from the swallow. The composition is excellent. The usual high image quality we expect from your work as well.

Nice even light on the bird and you got a great exposure throughout. The soft colors are great and I love that background. The crop held up very well. Nicely done.

Wow Ron,
Great detail. Looks like X marks the spot (The perch plus the oof reed in the background is exactly where this little guy is perched). Whites look great as does the head turn slightly towards you. Really like the the combination of green and brown reeds in the background. Light is exceptional. Large image really needs to be seen. Beautiful Ron.
