I took this shot on Saturday at a local spot called Red Rocks, West Kirby. I enjoy looking for compositions like this and the late sun lighting up the edges of this sandstone stood out for me.

I like the shot but would love to hear your feedback.

Looks like Kuyper-light to me. :-) Nicely balanced textures. Might take the saturation down around the edges here a bit, leaving the brightness and contrast as-is.

It would be fun to play with this image and try to build in a sense of depth to it. Fading each layer back in space like layers of hills.

Cool colors and patterns. Reminds me of layered mountains and haze of the Smokies with a southwest color scheme. I like the way the brighter area in the center grabs my attention.
