Landscape in ice

I had a wonderful ice shooting day recently on our creek; one of our few ice days we've had this year. I have posted some in the macro gallery and one in landscape but this challenge gave me a chance to post one also in this gallery. This is actually a larger view (and turned around) of the first ice abstract I posted in this series in the macro gallery.

Canon Rebel T1l. 90mm macro lens. F/16 for 1/8 sec. ISO 100. Tripod mounted. White balance setting. Natural lighting in shade. No adjustment to natural blue tint in editing.

Ice is fun. No doubt about it. This shot is simple and perfect in every way. A very nice display of overlapping details.

I like the patterns swirling throughout the ice. I wanted to capture some of these this winter but we haven't had the ice to do so yet.

I'm loving all of these ice images & this is no exception! The swirling lines & bubble patterns have my eyes swimming around the image. Good job on this!
