Curling vine

We have a wild area along the creek behind our house where lots of wild plants and vines grow. (Helps provide stability to the creek banks.) I always enjoy seeing all the wonderful curls and tendrils of the wild vines that snake all around this wild area. Chris Grabski's recent posting brought this photo to mind.

Canon Rebel T1i. 90mm macro lens. F/11 for 1/3 sec. ISO 400. Natural lighting.

Great eye to see this potential! Perfect perspective, and the colour combination couldn't be better.

A very exciting comp, maybe just a bit of the Burn tool or cloning could help those few burnt out spots. Rally like your image. :wavey:

Carolyn:
Looks like telephone cords! I like the composition. The eyes just follows the curls left to right and then down and up. The highlight is a little strong and using a polarizer would probably reduce this some.

Great find Carolyn. As per Gary's comment, is that why everyone's going with a cell phone

Like it, Carolyn ! The curls make for a lovely composition ( you can almost feel the plant unwinding ! ) - and I like the dark green bg very much.

Very unique image. Well seen and photographed. I appreciate someone that can take something very common and make and artistic image out of it.
