Image taken at the Como Conservatory St. Paul MN. Backlighting produced a nice effect on the palm tips.

Sony AV55,Manual, F5.6, 75mm, ISO 100.

Comments always welcome.

Thank You

The light on the palm leaf is nice and it is an interesting combination of elements. For some reason the composition is a little confusing to me.

This is very unconventional William, but I like it. It's the lighting in the lower left that makes it work. I think the upper right gets lost a little because there's not alot there to grab my interest.

William:
An unconventional composition. The golden tips looks like raining down on the leaf at the bottom. Good exposure of the bottom leaf.

Hi William , I agree with Gary an unique composition , it really does look like the gold tips are raining down on the larger palm leaf . The lighting gives the image an almost sinister feel as the gold tips could almost be alien fingers !! Nicely seen and captured !
