Winter and Leaves

I took this shot a couple of days ago, before it warmed up a bit...the leaf was lying on a pond at a local park. I especially liked this because of the imperfections of the leaf, and how ragged it looks against that ice...
I cloned out a small piece of debris to the right of the leaf. I also gave this image a cooler tone than is accurate, I think I put my white balance on florescent, but ended up warming it up a bit to where I liked it...is this too blue? Or is it okay?

Nikon D70, 60mm, f/4.5, 1/125, ISO 400, hand held
All comments and critiques appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Jaymes

I think you could go many ways as far as color pallette. I like the blue but may prefer it a bit brighter......but that may also take away the cold feel yo uhave achieve. I think the comp is very nice too!

I like the curves of the leaf and the subtle light and colors

Very good detail throughout. I do find that the image has a pretty strong color cast, but that's subjective and really depends on the look you're after.

I like your white balance choice, the blue works well with this image. And good subject too! I think I agree with Roman that it could perhaps be brightened up a bit.

Like this one very much- Your composition choice is excellent, leaving that big amount of room around the leaf- The blue cast is visible, but perhaps it strenghtens the wintery atmosphere of the image- Anyway you could play with levels and curve tools to find how it works with different settings- Very well done, Fabio
