Hosta flower buds

I have many hostas which are usually grown for their leaves but the flowers can have their good points also. This was taken several years ago after a spring shower before the various flower buds opened up.

Panasonic DMC-FZ28. 86mm at F/4.4 for 1/125 sec. ISO 200. Natural lighting.

This is really nice. Excellent dof for F4.4. The raindrops really add a lot of interest. :toast:

Carolyn:
Nice image. Like the color and the drops. Some noticeable noise in the bg but probably due to small sensor.

Gary: I did run the noise reduction filter over just the background several times but I guess I should have done more.

Nice alignment with the plane of focus Carolyn. Great color and richness in the shot. I like the water droplets.
