CANON 7D
CANON 100-400 L is
In the Negev, southern part of Israel
This Ibex was grazing on the side of the road.
I stopped to get a shot and he then decided to cross the road.
There were cars coming in the other direction as well.
The cars are moving fast and he seems to have all the time in the world.
There is also a problem of Camels crossing in this area as well
Thanks for looking

the oncoming cars build tension and make this compelling!

I can't tell for sure, but it appears the oncoming vehicles might be in the right hand lane. Is Israel a right side driving country? If so, the ibex still has a problem.

This is terrific Avi!

The undulating lines in the road really tie it all together. Without them the cars would be too far away for tension, but with them it feels almost like they're drawing the cars right into the ibex.

Perhaps some of my sense of tension comes from the appearance that the cars are driving on the wrong side of the road!
