First post in this gallery. This gallery was a great idea and the images submitted so far have all been superb. This is a wall of an old grain elevator found in the Palouse region of Eastern Washington in the fall 2010. Thought the colors and textures were really nice. This is about a 60% crop of a vertically oriented 4x5 but it still has tremendous detail. Would appreciate your thoughts.
4x5, 360mm Nikkor T, warm polarizer, Provia 100F, f22.3, 1/2sec. M1 scan, 60% crop, TK masks.

Posted a larger size image.

Thanks in advance for your comments, suggestions, ideas.

I am liking this Vance! Great weathered look and nice lines. The cross bars in the windows add a lot, too. I might consider pulling blue out of the image? Looks a bit blue on my screen.

I like old bldgs. The various window shapes and door make for a good composition.

A very lovely image -- I espcially love the strong vertical and horizontal lines. The high contrast adds to the overall presentation, and in some ways I feel it is contributing to the abstract effect.

I like old buildings. The weathered wood has such great character. Fine composition, texture and color.

Vance, I like this one. The detail is superb. I agree with Harley regarding pulling back on the blue/cyan a bit.

Nicely done!

Very nice framing, Vance. Could also see a slight crop and some cloning to lose the ground and grass.

Nice capture. I live in Spokane so I know there's a lot of great places to shoot. I would have experimented by slightly darkening the sort of white-wash boards to the right of the bottom left window, extending over to & underneath the window on the right.

Thanks for sharing this image.
