Seattle Flower n Garden

Went to find inspiration and beauty at the Seattle Flower and Garden Show today. Snapped off a few shots.

This was with Zeiss 100mm, F20 and about 1/2 second shutter.

PScript: Thanks for comments. The light was both filtered window and flood lights...mostly incadescent. The 1/2 to 1 sec shutter allowed me to place my hand to shade a portion of the flood lights in order to avoid strong shadow lines. Then I experimented by moving my hand during exposure to allow some flood lights through to brighten portions whilst softening the shadows rather than eliminating them entirely. That latter activity produced the best light and tones.

Ken: I think you found your beauty for sure. I especially like the comp and colors. The blues in the BG are especially pleasing to me. Most excellent.>=))>

Ken, this is gorgeous. I am not sure if it is the result of your post processing, the light, or some combination, but the color tones couldn't be better. :toast:

Great collection of colors. I like how you've spread them through the frame. As a minor nit, I could see cropping most of the leaves at the top to further emphasize the flowers.

Ken:
The color is gorgeous. The light is not even throughout which makes this special. Is this natural light?
