Nature's Combos #7

Melilotus officinalis (Yellow Sweetclover)
Aster intergrifolius (Thickstemmed Aster)

A pretty combination of foothill wild flowers. I'm wondering if filling the frame with them works or if I should have given them some more room. Suggestions for improvement are greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking

What a beautiful variety of textures and colors in this image, Nancy Lea! I think your frame filling comp works great for this. My only minor nit is wishing the two bottom OOF yellow flowers could be more in focus. It may have even worked to crop these out, don't know. See what others think. Irregardless it's a beautiful wildflower image and a great find.

Nancy: Do a small bottom crop like Carolyn recommended and then print it large. For me filling the frame is the only way to go with scenes like this. Very nicely done.>=))>

Lovely, Nancy ! I think this mass of flowers works so well for me because there seems to be a swing up from the lower R binding everything together. I think maybe at both top and bottom the oof flowers might be cropped, but I do really like this as is.

Very nice. This looks like a florist's arrangement and I too really like the filled frame. I do wish that the sweetclover bloom near the top center was in focus.

Superb splattering of colors...kind of a Riot of Colors, Nancy  - everything looks nice to me. If anything, the OOF elements could have been in focus but its a minor thing.
