Here is another shot from the prarie after last week's blizzard. The light was fading fast at this point.
Thank you for your comments on my last post and for any comment or critique on this one.

You are killing me with these beautiful snow scenes Morris. After the freak Halloween snow storm, we have not had any. Love the textures and cool coloring.

Another wonderful shot, Morris, I really like how the snow lines pull you into the scene from both sides. I think this would also work equally well with the sky cropped out.

Another convincing wintry atmosphere for me, Morris. The plainness of your composition shows the subtle textures at their best in my opinion.

The soft light and great texture in the snowbank makes this very inviting.

I like the mood that you have captured with the cool tones and the beautiful twilight light. I like the way that the wispy drifts in the foreground snow seem to point to the horizon as this leads my eye throughout the frame.
And although I like this as presented I wonder if you were able to get an abstract composition of this with the bottom 2/3 of the image just below the lowest clump of grass in the upper left hand corner. Maybe I'm just in an abstract mood today since I had the same idea on another image. Anyway, just another idea for a little different composition but as usual this is excellent as presented.

I like the shapes and textures, but this seems a bit under-processed. Something needs to take this up one level. It just doesn't seem to be there yet.

Brian, I did take an abstract of that section you are describing. I haven't processed it yet, but will try to soon.
Tony, thanks, and suggestions please!

Really great patterns in this lovely snowscape Morris. The central patch of snow patterns particularly catch my attention.
