Quite the combination. Northern lights and geysers. Not sure if anything can be done to remove what appears to be a line of power poles. All in all though this is a very unique photo. The exposure is spot on too.

Great shot Abdulmajeed. I really like the beautiful color range in this one but I would personally prefer to see it with the fence removed.

Abdulmajeed,
Wonderful image. A great and unique combo of the northern lights and what I thought might have been Yellowstone. Oh, and the "smell" is almost coming through the monitor...
I wanted to mention the foreground too. Gives me the impression that this is on Mars.

Love it! Fantastic display of color, night sky, and motion in the geysers.

Abdulmajeed, since you asked for C&C, i'm gonna be a bit tough on you, hopefully you won't take offense. Aurora shots are a dime-a-dozen this year so even minor details make some shots rise above the others. I know it's unfair to compare photos, but Tonly L's shot (posted after yours above) gives me a good reference to make a couple points. Using the geysers here as a foreground subject was a terrific idea, but the problem i have is that the aurora just doesn't stand out as a separate subject. If you look at the aurora Tony shot, it pops right out of the screen--the greens stand out crisply against the dark sky. Here, it just looks like a green smudge against a blue background (less separation) At f/4 im not sure you could have shot it any faster, so Im not sure what the solution was/is, maybe the aurora just needed to be a better one! Anyhow, it's a cool shot, I'm just offering you an explanation of how it could have been better.
EDIT: Oh, i just discovered you were out with Tony, lol! Well, i wonder what he thihks of my comments...

I agree with your comments Stan. The aurora is a bit flat in the sky, but in fairness it would be really challenging to bring it out with so much steam hanging in the air. A challenging shot to take and process, I think this is a fair compromise.

I really thank you all for your comments and critiques.
Tony, I'm really glad, I didn't expect Aurora will come again!. it was the best night in Iceland.
Stan, I really like critiques and be tough as much as you can . I totally agree with your comments.
canon 17-40 doesn't go beyond F4 and the Aurora wasn't strong as Tony picture. I was really lucky to have such Aurora at that time.
