Spanish Bath

Los Baños de Doña María de Padilla--the royal baths of Pedro the Cruel's lady friend--are found beneath the Alcázar palace in Sevilla, Spain.

This was shot on slide film back in 2004, so I couldn't tell you the settings. I just remember setting the camera up on a tabletop tripod and firing a quick series of long exposures just before a group of rambunctious school children rushed up to spoil the silence.

A good architectural find, Max! I like the colors and lighting. My only suggestion is
that you migh try to darken the bright area in the back. Nevertheless, for this is a
success.

Beautiful! The light is great, and the reflections are wonderful. Looks very peaceful.

Very nice color and light, Max. I do have a couple of suggestions aside from burning down the bright areas. First, it looks like there is a bit of clock-wise tilt. Second, the dark shadow areas look a little yellow. I love architectural shots like this, and you did a good job in the dim light.

Wow, what a great place! Great light and excellent the way the comp recedes to the glowing back window. Very well done.
