I used 10 stops B+W ND filter with shutter speed 150 second.

I hope you like it and your C&C required.

canon 5DmarkII
150sec
iso 50
F8
see the bigger version for better view

thanks :toast:

I like the comp. and the colors. I presume that the white is a blurring of the movement of the ocean.

I usually don't like the silky water look, but it works nicely here. Very nice composition, and this works great as B&W.

Great mood. You did a good job converting it to BW. I was debating the 50-50 comp, and I found that it worked here.

Love the minimalistic composition and that wonderful, milky water. Outstanding.

Love it! Reminds me of the images of David Burdeny. I'm curious, what is it in the distance? Is it a ship?

Wonderful combo of simplicity and starkness. I might like to see a slight CCW rotation to level the horizon, but very minor. Very well done.

Wonderfully minimalistic. I find the line of the horizon is strange as often the water and sky merge together without such a distinct thread. Is there a strip of land on the horizon? In any case, a very ethereal image.

Shantikara, Yes it is a ship

Mysterious and quite appealing. I love the fact this this doesn't look all that much like a photograph.

This is beautiful, a great showcase of what can be accomplished with the 10-stop ND filter.
