Getting this posted during the wrong season; sorry. This was taken this fall along the creek behind my house. Once in a great while I pay a visit to this awesome gallery which has lots of impressive stuff!

Canon Rebel T1i. 238mm at F/16 for 1/100 sec. ISO 400. Natural lighting.

C&C welcomed.

Outstanding image Carolyn. The color contrast between the leaves and the water makes this shot for me. I also like the way you captured the water droplet in the BG. The comp is well thought out. I like this a lot!

No seasonal apology needed! (In fact, I was just reviewing some of my fall reflection images, too, because I just bought some metalic paper, which I think will bring images like this to life on paper.)
Great comp and color. My only nit would be wishing the FG leaf were in better focus, but this is still beautiful.

Very nice Carolyn. Beautiful color combination with the blue & yellow. To me, the water droplet detracts somewhat from the image, but I realize that's all subjective. With it cropped out I like it better.

Some of you have commented on the water drop in the background. Just to clarify, this is actually water tension from the end of the leaf stem poking above the surface water similar to the area around the left bottom leaf stem.

A very good eye, Carolyn. The blue and gold/yellow combinations go well together.
The water tension breaks are an extra plus.

The color contrasts with the yellow and blue work extraordinarily well. Love the details in the leaf. Nice.

I really like the richly saturated and complimentary colors. Your compositional choices are excellent with the diagonal between the two leaves. Eye-catching and appealing.

This is really captivating. There's a depth of intimacy here that's hard to capture in a nature photograph.

This is such a stunning shot with great close up details and composition. i wonder if it might benefit from a touch of selective desaturation in places, lovely colours though.
