Living on the Prairie

I posted a pano of this earlier. But I wanted to get some opinions on this view. I feel this gives a real feel of the wide open prairie around this location. The only thing I wonder about is the grass in the foreground taking to much of the attention when you look at the image. Pleas look at the larger view for the full impact. This was taken on the south side of the Wildcat Hills in the Panhandle of western Nebraska. Thanks for your comments and critiques.

I like this Richard. Very good at showing the surrounding environment for what must have been a pretty isolated existence. I don't mind the FG grass as I think it adds to the impact of the image. Colors and lighting are very nice. On nit would be that on my monitor there is a halo at the junction of the top of the hills with the sky.

I think this works quite well overall. Excellent light and detail. I can see your point regarding the forground grass. I don't think it detracts much, and perhaps gives a more accurate feel for the location.

I like the open range feel of this Richard, the foreground adds to the depth in my opinion. Great vision.

The larger view really gives the impression of the prairie. No fair grumbling about population density in this neighborhood!

The grasses in the fg add the perfect touch, in my opinion.
