hello Angela
Amazing clarity..Soft muted & toned . (almost an Alan Murphy type image) I mean that as a positive /
is this a natural bg? were you using fill flash? Time fo day? The sun was probably very low to get that eye capture, And finally what is the crop/
I need to ask so I can learn from the expert!
Beautiful sharp detailed with very pleasing bg, Really enjoy and thanks for sharing

Overcast day. 10:50am. Reflection from a pond in front of the perch was creating the light in the eye. No fill flash used. About 30% pixels remaining. (I should have had my 1.4x tc on).
And Thank you for your kind words.

Very nice image quality, especially given the high ISO and the crop.
These tiny doves here in AZ are very spooky and I don't have a single shot of them that I like to date.

Nice detail and sharpness and I like the pose and how the dove is grasping the little rock outcrop.

Oh what a beautiful Dove, Angela. What can I say except I like everything about this image. Exposure, composition, perch and BG along with your usual great techs make this a winner.
