Scott, great capture! The only small nit I have, is that there is a small lighter blue, almost white circle that shows up on my monitor to the right on the head that you may want to fix. The sharpness and detail is great and keep looking for the Ivory! He is out there!

Nice shot of Woody Woodpecker. A great looking bird. I also see the white circle mentioned by Carlette.

Great image Scott. I like the detail and the composition with a slight angle to the perch. Exposure shows off the colors very well IMO. Wish I could see one of these, but at least I have seen this wonderful image.

Hello Scott
Well exposed , with a difficult subject. Seems ok from here?
I am off to Cuba soon in search of the ivory guy...has been another sighting recently there...

These birds are just magnificent. I enjoy the deeper hollow sound that they produce. Nice view of the eye, which is very sharp. I like the tree hugging here. I would consider trying to bring the darks up just a touch or possibly brightening the entire image.
