The Arch

Just going through some more image from travels last year. Here is a little different angle on Delicate Arch. I know one of a million or more shots of this location. Still a neat location to visit and shoot.
A personal note. This past week I had a gallery take some of my images from Cedar Canyon to display for sale. This is the first time I have had a gallery agree to display my images for sale. This is the busiest time of year for the gallery because it is near the Plate River in central Nebraska and the Sandhill Cranes are massing there now and that brings people in from all over the world.

Great light on the arch and not the typical comp of delicate. In the large version there seems to be spots mostly to the right and one orange emitting on the left most side close to the base of the arch. Easy fixes with the clone tool.

Love the intensely warm light here, Richard. It's a beautiful place regardless of how many images of it have been taken. Good luck with the gallery. Hope you get some sales.

The composition works, but I feel you pushed the WB too warm. Though it certainly evokes the feeling of sunset, the sun seems too high in the sky for that. Cooling down the WB a bit would also help remove some of the warm cast from the sky.

A beautiful and powerful images with some nice light. I wonder if the horizon needs straightening? Adrian
