Peralta Morning Glory

Prior to a get together at the Superstition Mountains on Saturday with a few photographers from the RMNP forum , I spent a couple of days along the Peralta Road focusing on that Three Sisters formation. Here is one of the better images from that trip. I have posted a few others in the RMNP forum, and would be interested in any preferences and processing suggestions.

Ah, there is the barrel cactus. Did you not take this shot with the clouds? Very nice detail throughout however and nice light. I will have to make a morning trip up here sometime. I actually took a different perspective from this spot, but I think this version works much better.

Nice image! Everything looks real crisp and sharp, plus the colors are amazing. I personally don't have any suggestions. The processing looks great...TFS!

Loved the colors in this photo. Di you use a GND filter. Looks like it or you really got a great exposure result. Excellent.

Thank you for the comments.
Rodrigo, a CPL was used and fortunately the effect on the sky gradient was minimal. In this case, I do not think having clear blue skies as a major detractor.
Peter, thanks again for coming out and joining me. I have posted the shot with the evening clouds in the RMNP forum.

I would prefer a little more room at the bottom and a little less at the top. Excellent balance in the lighting and the colors look very natural. You do have the elements lined up really well in the comp.

That's a great collection of shots and I like all of them. This one has the best composition in my opinion with the suggested curve in the foreground.

Very nice composition and color. Maybe a little more room at the bottom but there might have been something there not to include

Lovely shot Doug! Love all the elements here and great light too. I also would have preferred some more space on the bottom, but nevertheless still looks good. Cant wait to check out this area this weekend. It was nice meeting you this past weekend!

The curving vegetative foreground and sweet light make this pretty special, Doug.
'Development' looks great, too. No nits from me. Good work!

Doug, I like the comp you chose for this w/ the backwards 's - curve' of plants in the foreground. The processing also looks good to me!

Doug - Nice mix of plants and rock, and nice lighting on those towers. U placed the FG elements in a nice arrangement - nothing gets lost and gives a unifying feel for a chaotic mix. Nicely done.
