I've used PB before. I like the effect. As for the image, I like the color and dark to light gradient, as well as the position of the light source.

This is wonderful. I'll have to look up the processes used. I wonder what it would look like if you flipped it up side down. The darker part of the image might add a bit of visual weight to the base anchoring it a little better. Just a crazy thought on my part.
