I posted this image several days ago, but this one has a small sunburst in the branches in the tree. Again Cedar Canyon. All comments and critiques are welcome and helpful.

Still like it, Richard. The sunburst is quite nice. I like that it doesn't over power the image but adds another dimension to it.

Nice scene. I was going to complain about the contrast/silhouettes, but not after looking at the larger one. This gets a whole lot better just from the small to large here. I bet this will make a beautiful print! Maybe a little heavy on the vignette on the left side, maybe?

Nice image---very peaceful feel. Is this a blended-exposure image, or is it from a single frame? The sky behind the tree and just above the sunburst seems quite bright, compared to the surrounding sky. I'm not sure I'm explaining it well... TFS!

Nathan, this is one image and not a blend. The sun is just up over the horizon causing that area to be brighter. There was some very thin clouds or a haze or something on the horizon that was diffusing the sun and causing the colors to linger in the sky longer.

Love the silhouette of the tree and the delicate backlighting of the grasses. Wonderful glow in the sky around the tree and I really like how you have balanced the composition with the bluffs on the left. Excellent work.

Beautiful silhouette shot--nice color and composition, with just enough detail in the prairie/grasses!
