We are having an amazing bloom of callas. After our horrendous drought last year we had a pretty mild winter and a reasonably wet spring. The flowers and the leaves are just fantastic. This is a pretty good representation. All comments welcome.>=))>

Really nice to see a calla in it's more natural setting Bill. Very pleasing POV.

Wonderful condition of this bloom Bill. Excellent presentation. I find the DOF with the amount of greenery works well. I wonder a bit about burning or (or otherwise darkening) the partial bloom (or leaf) to the underneath and left of the main bloom. Nicely done!

Lots of curvy leading lines, Excellent control of whites, wonderful shadows for depth—what's not to like?

I always look inside the calla blooms for little green tree frogs. They seem to love the callas! :toast:

A perfectly composed, well executed image. Ditto Nathan's suggestion about the bright stem in the LLC.

A gorgeous specimen, indeed. Love the gentle folds and curves in both flower and leaves. Very easy on the eyes, and a pleasure to view.
