Reflections of colour

Hi,

This was taken on an overcast day in Yorkshire, UK, these "escapies" are breeding successfully on our waterways and are certainly giving them an extra burst of colour. Mandarins I think originate from the far east.

Cheers

Certainly better than any shot I've seen of this species (it occurs here in the US, also as a feral escaped bird around the Phoenix Zoo and in southern CA).

In addition ot the stunning colors, I've taken most by the quad composition of birds and reflections.

Well done.

The ducks by themselves are enough to blow me away, but having that reflection is killer - prettiest ducks I've never seen. I'd rethink your copyright location.

Hi

I wouldn't normally like this angle Tim but it's worked well here. Another splendid image from the Munsey production line. :toast:

It doesn't get any better than this! How gorgious they are. I surely wish we had them here. We have wood duck and they are quite pretty but those are kings! love the reflection! :toast: :toast:
