Temptation

One of the things I like about summer are the many local "events," such as county fairs. I like to wander around taking candid photos of the people and animals, especially at night. One night I found myself at the Pipestone County Fair in Pipestone, MN. It's a little county seat in southwest MN. I noticed a woman eying one of the food stands, obviously dithering between giving in to the temptation or not to. Eventually she did move on, apparently deciding she didn't really need deep fried anything. A little story from a little town on a pleasant summer's evening.

Great juxtaposition of elements. I got a great laugh from this one.

Great story-telling, here, Kent. Did the vendor ever make eye contact with her?

This is the type of picture to bring back old memories. I always had to buy my mom fried dough at every carnival we went to. Great photo.
