Translucent poppy

The first poppy 2012 (bloomed in a shop).

I am sorry for being less present in the best flora forum in the world. I am engaged in a work that absorbs most of my time,but in a couple of months I'll post and comment as usual.

D700, Nikkor 200mm macro - f/19 and ISO 280. Backlit, with a diffuser disk in the front.

Thanks for your opinions and help.

Gigi, this is absolutely stunning. The colors of the petals and the center, the wavy lines of the petals with the straighter lines of the stamens make such a vibrant impact.

The quality of light is breathtaking! I can see and feel the energy radiating from the center of the bloom like the sun.!! the color and detail are spectacular
