From recent trip to Ft Desoto, this Reddish was in the shady area hunting (and catching) along a little tidal stream. Full frame, larger image included.

Just beautiful capture. I suggest a little tighter crop to remove bird reflection cut off where ripple pattern ends and some off right to balance and move bird from dead center. :wavey:

Wonderful pose and I like the detail on the larger image. A very interesting color scheme starting with that dark bill, way to go.

Great composition. I like the natural saturation the shade has brought to the image. I like the subtle partial reflection and the tones of the water. I'm never a fan of bubble in the water, but these are fairly soft. Well done.

Beautiful image of one of my favorite birds Bill. I would have loved to see the full reflection, but I had one some time ago that someone made the same comment on. In that case there was a rock in the way so I can appreciate if the full reflection was not possible.

Beautiful colors and detail and light. I might also try cropping a bit from the bottom to show less of the partial reflection.
