We were warned as we entered the blind early in the morning that the macaws were not likely to show up in big numbers (wet season being the reason). Gladly about 77 of them showed up and cacophony ensued

Great spacing of the birds throughout. Lucky you... the red and greens avoided the licks while I was at them down there.

We should all get warnings like that! It must have been difficult deciding how to compose this image as it was probably changing constantly. Great photo of an incredibly colorful bird. The neutral color of the rock face is a perfect BG to show the birds off. The tropical ocean like color of the birds doesn't seem real but I know it is as the greens in the foliage is accurate. Just amazing color. Nicely seen and captured.

Thank you all for the overwhelming response ! It was an awesome sight and am glad i could convey a sense of being there (at least to a small extent) !

I was super lucky with birds on this trip. Oh.. and this wasn't the avian highlight of the trip

Superb, Anand. I've been to clay outcroppings like this and had the birds completely fail to show up. Congratulations on a terrific photo and making the best of the opportunity.
