Really a great shot. The little drops on the right side of frame and the green BG really take this to another level. Cool!

Amazing. I love the composition and creativity involved here. If that drop is natural that is incredible. It probably couldn't be more well placed. Love the title. Suggests a great story.

Very cool Cheryl. Fantastic colors and nice lines. The true subjects (the water droplets) are very well supported by the other elements in the shot. Nice implied distance by the title also.

I like this, Cheryl. It's amazing how you were able to nail the focus on the different water droplets...I'm sure it took more than one shot! Quite a capture.

These drops are difficult to make interesting (other than a drop on a petal), but this is exceptional. The center drop is wonderful in its own right, but the two focused on the right add balance, depth, and interest that radiates beyond they typical shot of this sort.

Stunning work, Cheryl :toast: - love the placement of the drop and also the refractions in it. A small quibble is the highlight here and there from the OOF water drops.

Cheryl, in the flora discussion forum, I asked this week what makes a great floral image. Patricia gave an excellent summary, which I quote in full here because she seems to be describing your image, which I think certainly qualifies as a great floral image:

"A few things that are necessary or complementary are... background (always), lighting, unusual lines and curves, a gentleness or softness, sharp lines, texture, a waterdroplet, interaction with other elements in the photograph, color palette and especially a challenge to present the flower, leaf, tree, etc. that you are photographing in its best light and in your own personal way."

Congrats.

Cheryl:
Really STUNNING! Although composition looks simple, the execution is not so easy to get various drops in sharp focus.

I go on staring at the little water drop in the higher petal thinking that it is up to fall down. A splendid photo Cheryl.
Take care.
