One More Wide View

Hi all.

Here is one more view of the crocus patch that I was able to shoot a couple of weeks ago. Does the petal coming in from the right kill the shot at all?

I am getting toward the tail end of crocus shots to post.

Any and all thoughts appreciated.

Nathan

Beautifully crisp image, Nathan. The wayward petal is fine by me - I think it echoes the lines of the two front petals in the centre of the image.

Another excellent example. I don't know which one, this or previous, is better. IMO both are excellent. But if you allow a bit more space at the right side, I'd vote for this. Well done Nathan.

I like this, though not as much as your last post in this series. For me it's not so much the petal coming in on the RHS that's an issue, it's instead that the composition feels tight on that side because a petal on the main bloom is touching the edge of the frame. I'm being picky here but that's in part because you have so many other fine crocus shots.

Another beauty, Nathan. The petal you asked about is fine, IMO.

I dont think that petal hurts Nathan. In fact, I like how it lays against the uppermost petal of the main flower.
Colors and comp are top notch as usual!
