Here is another image from my time on the Plate River in Nebraska with the Sandhill Cranes. There were so many birds that there was constant movement and always a few in the air. In a couple of weeks I will be in central Nebraska in a blind at a Prairie Chicken lek. I am really looking forward to it because I have never seen Prairie Chickens before. Had a great time. All comments and critiques are welcome and appreciated.

Canon 40D
Tokina 80-400
Aperture Priority
Shutter 1/1000
Aperture f8
ISO 640
400mm
Cropped to about 80% of original from the left side. I got them a little to centered in the original. Also color correction in PSE9.

Nice job, Richard. God wing position and the main birds are tack sharp. Too bad the wing shadow of the leading one obscures the eye. Good luck with the prairie chickens-I saw a couple of ads for that when we were in Kearney two weeks ago and it's most tempting.
