I tried various things with Curves and other things to consider changing the look of the yellow, but in the end I liked it the way it started out.

Very nice shot of an osteospermum Barbara. I like the point of focus and the DOF that you went with. For a different look, you could try shooting lower so that you just have the flower in front of the blueish/purpleish BG.

Very nice Barbara - the color combo here is great. I like the DOF, but I think I'd like a little more than this too. (Personal preference, I know).

I really like the flower, the dof, and the details in the center. The background colors, especially the dark blue, feel over saturated to me, but I wasn't there.
