Sandstone Easter Egg

This is the horizontal version of an image I've posted here before. It was taken at a different time and developed out a little differently, but is easily recognizable as the same location.

Your thoughts and recommendations are always useful. Thanks.

5D2, 28-300 @ 183mm, f/16, 1/13 sec, several exposures focus-blended.

NOTE: In response to Larry's comment below, this is not HDR. It's taken in the shadows. It's a very flat scene. Photoshop is used to develop the contrast and color.

Some weird person's house is just waiting for wall-paper that looks like this, Tony...

I think it looks like one of my Grandma's quilts. All the different colors of thread. Might be a little hard to sleep on or under though. Beautiful job Tony!

The color attraction in the photo is very large.
This appears like an HDR??
The lines, contrast, color are wonderful.
Regardless of how it was made it is a great shot.

You have a wonderful touch with these scenes, Tony. The textures and lines of the sandstone are very powerful, and the strong color pulls me in. Fascinating.

Wonderful display of colors. Tony, only you could pull off something like that. Love Stan’s comment.

Amazing colours and textures. I think it also works if you turn it 90 deg CW. Not sure about the framing - the colours might look even better on a plain black backdrop?

Impressive patterns (and matching title). The alternativing textures with their colors work very well for me.

Wonderful, Tony! So many successful interpretations of lines, layers, patterns, colors,
and textures. The manner in which you've composed really has a great 3-D effect for
me.

Beautiful formations, but the colors are not working for me at all. I am just not a big fan of the hugely over-the-top colors look. Velvia, count me in, but this is Velvia times 100. As usual, I probably stand alone on this.
