Frosted Heuchera

Late frost .... woke up wanting to go do some other outdoor stuff...but, too cold...for water sports. So I opted to grab the camera and look for compositions. This is much like a recent photo by Scott Lanz. Copy alert!

Niko D300, Zeiss 100, f22 and 2.5 sec shutter.

Fabulous Ken. The colors are outstanding, the leaves have terrific shapes and patterns, and the frost is icing on the cake. Coincidently, I was shooting some more frost covered flowers this morning, so I may copy this image in an upcoming post, but I don't think I got anything close to this. My only minor nit, and I don't know that there was anything that you could have been done to prevent it, is the empty space the the lower center. However, I looked at this quite a while before I found anything at all wrong with it. Overall, I'd be very happy with this image.

Beautiful colors, love the frosting. I like the full-frame focus and excellent detail.
