Nicely done, Barbara. Love the colors and the lines really add to the impact of this image. The converging/diverging aspect of the veins is really great. I lok forward to your experiments with this species.

I like the graphic abstract nature of this image. I have been in Florida only once last fall, but was fascinated by this species. I found one that was stressed and had turned a wonderful color. I'm sure you'll find lots more interesting comps. My attempt is here.

Very creative use of lines moving from top to bottom. Nice handling of the colors. Unfortunately the photo doesn't completely fit on my smallish monitor, but as I scroll down it does create an interesting illusion of movement through a tube.

Nicely done, I love the shades of green that are changing across the image, and the lines are great. Nice composition of a tough subject!

I really like the lines and light you captured here Barbara, I have attempted palmetto several times and have never achieved anything near this. Well done.

Watch out for the Guinea wasps! (and the redbugs, ticks, and yellow jackets). Nice abstract of lines and shades. :toast:

Lovely set of lines and shapes. The corner-to-corner flow of the dark green works very well and the bright greens set it off and add warmth. Might be interesting to stick a few of these together and do a polar conversion.
