WC 529 - Blue & Green-2

My second contribution to this weekly theme. This time a Dwarf Periwinkle (in German language Kleines Immergrün). It is a plant native to central and southern Europe. It grows as a ground cover in gardens creating evergreen dense foliage with very nice spring and summer blue flowers. Even though that this plant is native to Europa, I've captured this flower image in Lower Himalayas in northern India; "nature without barriers & boundaries".

Miro, thank you for sharing this image. Question: What is the box-like interior border? Around the outside edges, there is a constant degree of a washed-out look. Just curious.

This plant is also quite common in our area also. I have a number of beds utilizing this as a groundcover and they are blooming very nicely right now. I think the comp you have chosen works well for this; not so sure about the border though. Feels a little intrusive on the main subject. Great find for the theme, Miro.
