Very nice portrait Barb. I like the contrasting colors.

Barb, Looks lovely to me. We have exactly the same variety blooming (just a few in between other varieties) and my attempt came up short due to not so good background.

I particularly like the colors and the petal details here

Wow, it must be great to have such beautiful flowers in your back yard to shoot. I like the BG you chose to set the flower off and the detail is really nice.

This is just purrrrrrfect Barb. The bloom looks to good to be real, but is and the supporting cast of greenery is well captured also. Very nice job!

This is so "classically" beautiful with the gentle brightening from the bottom to the top of the flower and the glorious details in the petals.

Mmmmm. Peppermint. It looks good enough to eat.
Great detail in the flower and I like the way it leaps off the background.

Simple and very strong composition, Barb. Love the starkness of the complementary colour combination and the perfect rendering of the tulip petals.

Also for me color and details are the nicest features, specially seen in the larger photo.
Excellent.
Take care.
