The White River

Sunset, Fitz Roy, Los Glaciares National Park, Argentina. From some personal shooting time after my Epic Patagonia workshop with Bernabe. Strove to keep the processing as subtle and natural as possible . . .

Of course, what I wanted from this location was a sunrise shot, not another damned sunset shot. Got it, but then it got away . . . you can read more in my most recent post to the Outdoor Photographer blog Lost and Found.

Incredible image, from an incredible location! The white background here makes it a bit hard to enjoy this fully, but the colors look great, along with the comp and processing. TFS!

This is a great photo.
I'm one that does not like overdone water. Therefore, my personal nit, I would perhaps have preferred one with less water motion. But, judging from the darkness of the background, a shorter exposure would not have been possible.
I wonder what a 5 photo overlay in PhotoMatix would have done?
I do like the subtle color. Including myself, many 'wanabes' overdue color.
Would like to see a larger version.
Excellent stuff.

What a sorry story! Anyway, this is a wonderful shot all the same. The glow on the water and rocks sure is sweet.

Great tension between the glowing background and moody dark flowing foreground.
