I've been out shooting very little this spring, but here's one taken a couple weeks ago in morning light. Daffodil, Fellows Riverside Gardens, Youngstown, D700, 180 macro, f22, iso 200, tripod. Larger image included. Comments welcome.

Very well done, Scott. Choice of crop is also just perfect. Nice handling of the backlighting and letting F/22 do its job

i like the colour and composition immensely. i do regret the OOF parts - it could, IMHO, gone either way - make them very soft or had them sharply in focus. still, nice work and i like this.

Beautiful, Scott! I like your DOF choice with the center in sharp focus and the rest somewhat blurred. One's interest zeroes directly into the middle as a result. The wonderful backlight really gives a glow to this photo.

Just a beautiful ebullition of color (everyone else was using explosion I had to use another word) I love the detail and light in this and a perfect crop.

Really like the nice tight crop to focus the attention where it belongs on the flower center. Very apt title. :toast:

Very appropriately titled, Scott. Good DOF, and the colors do radiate.
I have no suggestions for changes or improvements.
