Rainy Saturday

It's raining here this morning. After spending some quality time with my coffee cup, National Geographic and music on the back deck I noticed it had stopped raining and the wind had died down. Time to hit the yard with the macro! Only got about 10 minutes before the wind picked up again and it was time to head back inside.

Richard - Nice shot of the Peony Flower. Ants have something to do with some varieties of Peonies as I see them running up and down the bud all the time.

Compositionally I'd have left more space (less magnification that is) around the flower and the bud. I do like the colors, water drops and a clean background.

I really like the colors in this image. The background really make the flower pop. The water add very nicely to the pic.

I really like to combination of flower and bud covered in raindrops. I agree with Ram that it feels just a bit tight especially at the top. If you use PS5, adding some canvas at the top and using content aware fill could help.

Richard:
Nothing beats the feeling of freshness walking around the garden after a down-pour. Love the color and drops. Would like to see a little more room around.
