Winter Falls

Just sharing another from my winter visit to the Columbia River Gorge. I have been shooting quite a bit this spring, and have to get on top of this massive stack of raw files! I have also been fortunate to have a few awesome workshop clients this spring.

I'd like to hear what you think of this one. I don't find the white background to suit this image well. You can see it with a dark BG here - http://www.alexmody.com/photo/dry-creek-winter

The dark fround is much better for view this Alex. I like how the rocks below the surface of the water seem to be glowing red which give your image a nice mix of warm and cool hues.

Nice image. I haven't seen many pics of these falls with snow. IMO, everything looks good. The foreground rock at the bottom left seems to have an interesting straight line in the snow? TFS!

Nice flow to the falls and through the frame and I like the hints of color on the rock face. Lovely.
