Spanish bell

This is a close-up of one of the bell-like flowers that alternate on the stem of Spanish Bluebells. I may be posting larger views of these flowers at a later point. They are blooming profusely in my flower beds right now.

Canon Rebel T1i. 180mm macro lens. F/22 for 1/2 sec. ISO 100. Tripod mounted, natural lighting.

I like the color of the flower and how it stands out from the background. Nice composition also.

Very pretty, Carolyn. Gorgeous blue color against the green BG. These individual flowers are very small. Excellent job isolating this bloom. :toast:

Terrific close up of a very tiny flower and great job of isolating the single bloom. I agree that the diagonals are really nice.

Such a pretty blue and nice light coming through the petals. Really nice composition with the isolation and the angle.
