Graham: Wonderful scene and light. A touch more DOF on the front tulips would suit me a bit better but this does work very well for me as is. I would also be tempted to crop about half the sky to about midway down the top blade of the windmill. Makes me want to go there. >=))>

Graham - I am sure you were pursuing some idea here - shooting at F/20 and having so little in focus. I am not sure the frame works for me that well but I do like the selective focus on a small area of Tulips.

I like the storytelling nature of this image, Graham, with the tulip field and the windmill in the background. The blurred background works well but I do wish the front tulips could be in focus. I also think the horizon could do with a little leveling. If those two things could be fixed I think this would be a great photo!

Nice use of the windmill in the BG Graham. Nice light for a pretty scene.

Graham:
Nice light. Agree with Carolyn about leveling the horizon - make the windmill sit more solidly on the ground rather than looking a lit tipsy. Might even add a touch of gradient lighting to the top half.

Love the perspective here, Graham, and the choice of focus. Might wish for a touch more exposure, but maybe you wanted to emphasise what seems to have been a very overcast day.

Yes I like it. I also agree with Carolyn's two points. A touch more brightness wouldn't hurt, although the day might have been rainy. There certainly was enough good light to have a fair dynamic range, which should have warranted an increase in brightness in the post processing. This might have been a good occasion to try a little stacking.
