Pear Tree Blossoms

Gallery: FloraPosted May 20, 2012179 views15 comments

Nikon D300, 50mm, F/22, 1/25sec, ISO 200.

Taken from my only pear tree, the branches are low enough that I could focus down a bit, to get the grass and dandelions for a nice background. Comments appreciated.

Albert - Very cool - love that bright background which is sufficiently blurred. All the blooms look so fresh and contained nicely within the DOF.

Very eye catching frame

Beautiful, Albert. I like the unusual and striking chartreuse BG.

Although the BG is vivid, the white flowers still stand out. Well done.

Albert:
I love the bg almost as much as the flowers. The color on the blooms are little muted and a little fill might infuse some life into the white and orange. Beautiful capture

Nice group of blossoms and a nice BG Albert. I am not sure about the branch running straight across the frame.

Wonderful cheerful background for these white flowers that seem to be exploding from the tree branch! Very nice details on the flowers with a great blurred background means you made a good DOF choice.

Interesting quirky splash of pink on the one flower.

Well done all around Albert, I especially like the slightly muted colors against the light BG..
One has to see this large to fully appreciate it
