I was fascinated with this narrow canyon that is within the much larger Zion canyon. So much so that I hiked up the 1.5 mile 1000 foot elevation gain three days in succession to finally get images that pleased me.

Nikon D700; Nikkor 24-85 @24; 1/13s -0.33; @f/11, ISO 200, tripod.

Comments and criticisms always welcome.

I'd say your repeated trips were well worth the effort! Nicely composed and perfect exposure. Very nice, David. :toast:

This is my favorite spot in the park and have been there many times, also I love the lung-busting hike. I do like the image and the subdued colors. It feels a little left heavy in my opinion though.

This captures the spirit of Zion quite well. I like the warm/cool contrast and the way it simplifies a somewhat chaotic scene.

I love Zion but find it sometimes difficult to photograph. You have done very well here. I like this a lot.
