High Water

I was a bit surprised(although I shouldn't be) at how high the water was on Chilliwack Lake this past weekend. Normally there's a beach beyond this bush. The water was pretty choppy so I thought a longer exsposure would smooth it out.

Thanks for looking,

Dean

Very peacefull and serene mood you've conveyed, Dean. I find myself wishing there was a bit more warmth in the sky, but this still works nicely.

A fine balanced composition to me, Dean. I especially like how the delicate twigs counteract the majestic mountain range in the distance.

The soft blue light and non-choppy water and simplicity of the branches creates a nice peaceful feeling here. I thing the framing of the center peaks with the dark peaks on the sides add to this. It's an engaging photo.
