I've been digging back, re-editing images that I was never totally happy with my initial processing and incorporating new things I've been learning along the way when it comes to post processing.

I was lucky enough to get to visit Zion National Park last fall and had a blast, this place was great and I can see why it draws so many photographers on a yearly basis.

We hit the Narrows near the end of our trip and for my first time there it was a lot to take in during our hike. I felt good walking away with this shot for my first time in this amazing place, and I'm satisfied with the way this one has eventually turned out. The water flow was very fast and chest deep in places, making it quite the adventure and challenge along the way.

I'm excited to get back out to Zion this November and have another romp down to the Subway for something better than last year and hopefully a few more clouds!

Nice work! I definitely want to get back to Zion this fall. Is it just me, or does the foreground rock resemble a skull if you tilt your head to the left?

This is a great shot, Peyton. I like the leading line to sunlit canyon and the long exposure for the water. Very nice.

Well done. Not having been there, but seeing work from others, I wonder if some mid tone brightening might spread the cheer from the lit slot a little?

I like the composition of this image. The colors and light are handled well and the blur of the water adds to the image.

Beautiful scene Peyton. I also thing the rock looks like a skull sideways. You could try lightening the walls just a bit to see if a little more detail will come out.

I like your comp Peyton. The fg rock is very interesting and nicely highlighted. The glowing wall at the back is really nice as well, but I do find the side walls a bit too dark. Nice work!

Here's the updated image with some attention to the midtones along the walls - feedback appreciated!

I think the mids look pretty good Peyton. Shadows are quite deep, but they do lend some gravity to the drama.
