Close-up photo of purple lily from Kuala Lumpur Orchid & Hibiscus Gardens.Kuala Lumpur Orchid & Hibiscus Gardens were established in the year 1986, covering an area of approximately 1 hectares in size. It is located at the highest point of Kuala Lumpur's Lake Garden, near to Kuala Lumpur city center, and is surrounded by lush greeneries. It was set up to showcase the various species of orchid and hibiscus plants in this region. Beside of orchids and hibiscus the visitor can find there various kinds of water lilies and other tropical flora. Nice place to visit.

Miro:
Love this intimate view of the water lily center. Like the color and how the petals are just opening up. Nice subdue lighting.

Have not been to KL for a few years now but must make a point of visiting this garden when I am next in M'sia

Beautiful soft lighting and a nice view of the colorful center of this image. I might be tempted to move the water lily somewhat off center to strengthen the composition. Very nice work Miro!

Lovely colours and detail. I would have liked to see the bottom pedal tip in the shot or cropped a little tighter maybe . :toast:

What a stunning beautifully colored flower! Love the radiating design of the center. Good lighting and nice details in the center. I like the comp but would clone out the light areas in the bottom left corner.

Miro - One of my most favourite and in my opinion the aesthetic of all  . Your photo shows why. Love the colors and the composition.

Gorgeous colors and look to the center Miro. One benefit of shooting with a tripod collar would be to rotate the camera slightly CCW so that you could get that bottom petal all the way in the frame will still getting the petal to the right in the corner of the frame.

Love the brilliant colors, yet they're presented softly. Nice work, Miro.
